UAV photogrammetry technology
Stages of 3D modeling of roads
1. Planning
Flight route, altitude, camera angles, and overlap parameters are calculated.
2. Aerial photography
The UAV automatically covers the area and takes high-precision images (80-85% overlap).
3. Geo-referencing
Each image is linked to coordinates with cm accuracy using RTK/PPK technology.
4. Photo processing
A point cloud is created using Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D, or ContextCapture software.
5. 3D model
Mesh model, orthophoto, and digital elevation model (DEM) are exported.
6. Analysis
Road condition, length, width, slopes, and exact locations are analyzed in a GIS environment.
